Hobbiton Village at Flora Park offers an immersive escape where fantasy meets the natural beauty of the Cameron Highlands. Nestled in Flora Park, this enchanting destination lies about 4 km north of Century Pines Resort in Tanah Rata, Pahang. From the resort, visitors are directed to head north along Jalan Tengkolok before turning left onto Jalan Gunung Brinchang. A scenic 15–20 minute drive brings you to the entrance of Flora Park, where a 4WD shuttle service is available to help navigate its steep and narrow pathways.
Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic Middle-earth, the village boasts a collection of charming hobbit-hole cottages and whimsical details that transform the park into a living fairy tale. Wander along vibrant flower tunnels and themed gardens bursting with begonias, hydrangeas, and petunias, while elevated walkways provide breathtaking views of the surrounding tea plantations and misty valleys. For a refreshing pause, visitors can enjoy treats at a fairy-tale café set amidst the blooming landscape.
Hobbiton Village at Flora Park is designed not only to spark the imagination of fantasy enthusiasts but also to delight families and nature lovers with its creative blend of horticultural artistry and literary charm. Entry fees are RM50 for adults and RM25 for children (ages 3–12), which include the 4WD transfer. The park welcomes guests daily from 9:30 AM until 6:30 PM, with the final entry at 5:00 PM, and online pre-booking is encouraged, especially during busy periods.
Originally opened as a private horticultural initiative in 2021, Flora Park expanded its appeal by introducing Hobbiton Village in 2022. The addition further enhances the park's allure, offering a unique environment that marries the fantastical elements of The Lord of the Rings with the serene, meticulously crafted European-style floral displays of the highlands. Key features such as picture-perfect hobbit houses, a pastel-hued flower tunnel, and themed areas like the “Cloud Garden” create endless photography opportunities and a tranquil setting—a distinctive contrast to the region’s more traditional tea estates and dense forests.
