Tea Houses: The Bharat Group operates two tea houses situated close to each other along the main road:


Cameron Valley Tea House 1: This tea house features a small park with a waterfall, offering a more relaxed ambiance.


Cameron Valley Tea House 2: This is the larger and more popular tea house. It boasts a bigger parking space and stunning panoramic views overlooking the Bharat tea plantations.


Enjoy Tea and Local Delights: Indulge in a variety of teas produced by Bharat Tea, including black tea, green tea, and white tea. They also offer a selection of local dishes, pastries, and snacks to complement your tea experience.


Shopping for Tea and Souvenirs: Take home a piece of Cameron Highlands by purchasing tea from various Cameron Valley brands (all owned by Bharat Group) and other local souvenirs at the tea house shops.

Opening Hours: The tea houses typically operate daily from 9am until late afternoon or early evening, depending on business. It's best to check their social media pages or website for the latest information.


Location: The tea plantation is located near Tanah Rata, about 2km before town or 6km after Ringlet, along the main road.


Parking: Parking is available at both tea house locations.


Cost: There's no entrance fee to visit the plantation or tea house. You'll only pay for the food and drinks you consume.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS FUN FACTS
  • Cameron Highlands is the largest tea producing region in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. The BOH Tea Plantation, established in 1929, is the first highland tea plantation in Malaysia. Visitors can tour the factory and even enjoy a cup of freshly brewed tea!

  • The Cameron Highlands boast a unique cloud forest called the Mossy Forest. This 200,000-year-old forest is covered in thick layers of moss, lichen, and ferns, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

  • The world's largest single bloom flower, the Rafflesia Arnoldi, can be found in the Cameron Highlands. This incredible flower can grow up to 1 meter in diameter and weigh up to 10 kilograms! However, it only blooms for 3 to 5 days, making it a rare sight.
